Arabize QA department guarantees the quality, consistency and coherency of your materials always.
Quality has been our commitment for more than ten years to produce quality Arabic to cover the whole MENA region. Accordingly, we are able to keep heritage as well as continuing partnerships with the world's leading organizations that consider us a trustworthy localization partner.
However, in a highly demanding global environment, there is more to localization than just quality. Localization is now in need of quality guarantee. Hence, was the idea of constructing a separate entity for QA that would function as Arabize' eyes through all stages of work development. We did not have to create a new department from scratch, since QA has always been part and parcel of our cycle.
Two kinds of Quality Assurance
QA is a separate department that conducts two kinds of quality assurance:
- Internal QA: for projects submitted internally by our Language Department.
- External QA: for projects provided by clients requesting only quality assurance on externally localized
projects.
External QA could be done using Arabize' QA procedure and sheets, or by implementing client-specific
QA system, if any.
QA Department Role
Our Language and DTP Departments work closely with the Quality Assurance Department to provide maximum efficiency and value for both our partner clients and our organization. The QA Department role includes:
- Monitoring: At Arabize, the role of the QA team is monitoring quality and defining corrective actions
to be taken if quality levels deviate from Arabize' defined standards and the contracted requirements
of the client. This close monitoring guarantees high quality products both linguistically and culturally to
obtain maximum client satisfaction.
- Polishing: After translating and reviewing a document, it goes to the QA department. In this phase,
the QA specialist polishes the work for you to make it effective; to make it sound more as an Arabic
source than a translated material.
- Linguistic Testing: Arabize QA specialists perform Software Linguistic Testing on the compiled
software after localization. It is a kind of testing executed on the product to verify linguistic
appropriateness of the translation in the localized product in context. The emphasis is not more on the
functionality, but on checking the appropriateness of the translation in that GUI context. This kind of
testing insures that the application is properly translated in the context presented by the User
Interface including menus, dialogues and messages.
Our Quality Assurance department has a one and only mission: “Maintaining, developing and guaranteeing general quality, deploying the best qualified calibers in the localization sector”. |
